Mercy Health – Cincinnati appoints new leaders, expands leadership roles: 3 things to know

Mercy Health – Cincinnati has appointed new leaders at two of its hospitals and expanded the role of a leader at another.

Here are three things to know about the leadership changes.

1. Jason Asic was appointed COO of Mercy Health – West Hospital in Cincinnati. Mr. Asic previously was the hospital’s assistant CFO.

2. Justin Krueger was appointed COO of Mercy Health – Fairfield (Ohio) Hospital. Mr. Krueger previously was COO of Aiken (S.C.) Regional Medical Centers. In his new role, he takes over for R. Wayne Reid, who is now serving as COO of Mercy Health’s Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

3. Mercy Health has expanded the role of Kathi Edrington, DNP, MSN-NEL, RN. Dr. Edrington is now East Market CNO, with responsibility for clinical nursing at both Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati and Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. Previously, she was Anderson Hospital’s CNO and site administrator. She will continue with her role as Anderson Hospital’s site administrator and Gayle Heintzelman will continue to serve as Clermont Hospital’s site administrator with responsibility for hospital operations, officials said.
