Ms. Shitara previously served as a national vice president with Los Angeles-based Prospect Medical Holdings. She has also served as hospital administrator and CEO of Alta Hospital Systems, also in Los Angeles, and a part of Prospect Medical Holdings.
She is a former accreditation and patient safety manager for Keck Medical Center of University of Southern California and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, both in Los Angeles.
Ms. Shitara holds an MBA from Los Angeles-based University of Southern California.
