MemorialCare names CFO, COO duo for 2 hospitals

MemorialCare’s Long Beach (Calif.) Medical Center and Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach have a new chief operating officer, Todd Blake, and CFO, Patti Pilgrim.

Mr. Blake previously served as operations officer for Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City and COO at Banner Health, overseeing Banner University Medical Center-Tucson (Ariz.,) and Banner University Medical Center-South.

He has a master’s in business administration and master’s in healthcare administration from the University of Utah-David Eccles School of Business in Salt Lake City. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Ms. Pilgrim has more than 30 years of finance executive experience with a background in nonprofit hospitals and health systems. She most recently served as regional CFO for Providence St. Joseph Health’s Northern California region. 

She has a master’s in public health from the University of California Los Angeles.
