Here are three things to know about Mr. Stanzel.
1. In his new role, he will assist with the management of ongoing campus construction, including an 80-bed hospital and 45,000-square-foot Convenient Care Center and medical plaza. The first phase of the project is scheduled to open in early 2016.
2. He most recently served as assistant vice president and chief of staff for Memorial Hermann Health System President and CEO Dan Wolterman.
3. Mr. Stanzel earned his undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station and his Master of Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
