Memorial Health System names new CNO: 4 takeaways

Memorial Health System in Abilene, Kan., tapped Angie Johnson, MSN, RN, to serve as its chief nursing officer.

Here are four takeaways:

1. Ms. Johnson was most recently lead nurse in Heartland Health Care Clinic located at Memorial Hospital in Abilene.

2. She previously worked at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, Kan., where she served as house supervisor.

3. She has also served as an adjunct nursing professor at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.

4. Ms. Johnson succeeds Brenda Moffitt, who is moving to be closer to family.
