Illinois system names chief clinical officer

Springfield, Ill.-based Memorial Health named Ted Clark, MD, as senior vice president and chief clinical officer on Aug. 4. 

Dr. Clark previously served Decatur (Ill.) Memorial Hospital as chief medical officer since 2020, and he led the hospital’s emergency department between 2017 and 2020, according to a news release from the five-hospital system. 

In the new role, he will oversee the health system’s Memorial Medical Group, Memorial Behavioral Health, home health services, and quality and safety teams.
