Washington, D.C.-based MedStar Georgetown University Hospital has named Liz Daunt-Samford vice president and CFO, according to a post on her LinkedIn page.
She joins the hospital from Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare, where she most recently served as vice president and CFO of the system’s University Hospital Division.
“This role represents a meaningful next step — one that will challenge me in new ways and allow me to grow as a leader,” Ms. Daunt-Samford said in her post. “I’m energized by the opportunity and ready to make an impact.”
