MD Anderson taps Beaumont Hospital executive as new COO

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston appointed Rosanna Morris, RN, as COO, effective April 22.

Ms. Morris currently serves as president of Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak (Mich.). She has 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, including at Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine; Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna, Fla., now known as AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach.

“Rosanna brings a demonstrated ability to rally people around delivering high quality care in the safest, most efficient and effective manner while exceeding patient expectations,” said Peter Pisters, MD, president of MD Anderson.
