MD Anderson appoints inaugural chief nurse executive

Houston-based University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center has appointed Kim Slusser, PhD, RN, the inaugural chief nurse executive. 

Dr. Slusser will begin serving in the role May 1, according to an April 29 news release from the cancer center. 

She joined MD Anderson in 2023 as associate chief nursing officer, and most recently served as chief nursing officer ad interim and as the inaugural co-lead of the fulfillment focus area within the Meyers Institute for Oncology Nursing.
