McLeod Health names new CMO

McLeod Health has named Catherine Rabon, MD, CMO of the Florence, S.C.-based health system’s inland rural hospitals, effective Oct. 1.

Dr. Rabon currently serves as CMO of the health system’s Clarendon hospital in Manning, S.C., a position she has held since 2016. In her new role, she will be tasked with the additional oversight of McLeod’s Cheraw (S.C.) and Dillon (S.C.) hospitals, according to a Sept. 17 news release.

“As a physician with a passion for rural health, I am humbled and honored to accept this role with McLeod,” said Dr. Rabon. “McLeod Health is committed to ensuring the presence and delivery of medical services to our families and neighbors in the places where they live and work. While continuing with our teams at McLeod Health Clarendon, I look forward to building on that commitment with the physicians, advanced practice providers and staff of Cheraw and Dillon.”
