He had previously been CIO of the health system since 2020. Prior to that, he served as a group CIO for Saudi German Health in the United Arab Emirates, an associate CIO of Annapolis-based Anne Arundel Medical Center, and an IT leader for Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine and Pittsburgh-based UPMC.
In his new role, Mr. Chaudhry will oversee marketing, communications and public relations in addition to IT, biomedical engineering, telecom and business analytics, he told Becker’s. He will also lead some operational initiatives across the health system, which spans three hospitals and about 100 ambulatory care sites.
