Sharon O’Keefe Named President of University of Chicago Medical Center

Sharon O’Keefe, the current president of Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill., has been named president of University of Chicago Medical Center, according to a UCMC news release.

Ms. O’Keefe’s position is effective Feb. 23. She will replace Ken Sharigian, who has been serving as interim president of UCMC.

Previously, Ms. O’Keefe has held leadership roles with Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
