Rebecca Mathis has been named vice president and CFO of Adventist Hinsdale (Ill.) Hospital, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Ms. Mathis’ position was effective Jan. 3. Prior to her appointment, the CFO of Adventist Midwest Health, the hospital’s parent also based in Hinsdale, would simultaneously serve as Hinsdale Hospital’s CFO. The hospital’s executive team separated the dual position into two distinct jobs and began a nationwide search in Oct. 2010.

Ms. Mathis has served as Adventist Midwest Health’s regional controller since 2008.
