Mary Lou Mastro, RN. President and CEO of Elmhurst (Ill.) Memorial Healthcare. Since becoming president and CEO in 2013, Ms. Mastro has expanded the health system’s reach throughout Chicago’s western suburbs, opening a number of walk-in clinics and constructing a health center, which will officially open in 2017. Prior to her tenure as president and CEO, she held various executive leadership positions at the health system, including director of cardiovascular services, vice president of operations and vice president of architectural and construction services, among other roles. Ms. Mastro is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of various organizations, including the National Association of Psychiatric Healthcare Systems and the Illinois Hospital Association Behavioral Health Constituency. Ms. Mastro received a master’s degree from Rush University in Chicago.
