MaineHealth fills new regional president role

Portland-based MaineHealth has named Trampas Hutches president of its newly formed Mountain Region, Mainebiz reported Jan. 9.

Mr. Hutches joined the health system in January 2020 as president of Farmington, Maine-based Franklin Community Health Network, a member of MaineHealth. In addition to Franklin Community, he now oversees Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, Maine, and Memorial Hospital in North Conway, N.H. As regional president, he will aim to deepen relationships and collaboration with Augusta-based MaineGeneral Health and Lewiston-based St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. 

Barbara Sergio has been named interim president of Franklin Community Health Network. She currently serves as its COO.
