Maine Coast, Blue Hill hospitals name new senior nursing executive: 3 notes

Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth and Blue Hill (Maine) Memorial Hospital selected Kristin Cyr, RN, MSN, to serve as senior nursing executive and vice president of patient care services.

Here are three notes:

1. Ms. Cyr was previously director of compliance at Brewer-based Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems.

2. Both Maine Coast Memorial and Blue Hill Memorial are members of EMHS.

3. Ms. Cyr joined the EMHS compliance team in 2014, prior to which she worked in several clinical and leadership roles at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, another EMHS member.
