Lynn Mergen named CEO of Medical Center Barbour

Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula, Ala., has selected Lynn Mergen to serve as CEO.

Mr. Mergen brings more than 20 years of executive healthcare administrative experience to the role.

He previously served as CEO of Tulsa, Okla.-based Hillcrest Hospital South, where he established new service lines, including neurology and critical care. The 180-bed hospital also expanded cardiac catheterizations and open-heart surgeries.

Mr. Mergen has a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
