Lutheran Hospital names new COO

Scott Weiskittel, MPT, has been named COO of Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

A physical therapist by training, Mr. Weiskittel has served in a variety of leadership roles over the last 15 years. Most recently, he served as COO for three years at Pottstown (Pa.) Memorial Medical Center. Prior to that, he was the hospital’s assistant CEO and ethics compliance officer.

Mr. Weiskittel has extensive experience in managing service lines, developing joint ventures and delivering results on multiple capital projects. He is also recognized for helping Pottstown Memorial Medical Center receive numerous quality certifications and designations including several from The Joint Commission.
