LifePoint Hospitals names Rick Palagi CEO Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals has appointed Rick Palagi, MHA, as CEO of Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital located in Elko, Nev., where he has been serving as interim CEO since August 7.

Mr. Palagi has more than 30 years of healthcare management experience. Before joining Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, Mr. Palagi served as president and CEO for Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario, Ore., for three years. Prior to that, he served as senior executive officer and chief administrative officer of Northwest Healthcare in Kalispell, Mont., president and CEO of Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Sac, Wis., and CEO of St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby, Mont., among other leadership roles.
