Mr. Schoeplein has worked for the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, with which OSF HealthCare is affiliated, for 33 years. He most recently served as executive vice president of OSF Healthcare System, president of OSF Saint Francis and president of OSF Healthcare Foundation.
He replaces James M. Moore, who retired after 34 years with the organization.
