Louisiana hospital names CEO

Greg Nielsen has been promoted from interim to permanent CEO of East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, La.

Mr. Nielsen helmed the 420-bed hospital on an interim basis over the last year, according to a March 18 LinkedIn post. He has been with the system’s parent company, New Oreleans-based LCMC Health, since 2021; most recently, he served as chief operating officer of its Greater New Orleans region.
