Los Angeles hospital promotes nursing chief to COO-CNO role

Whittier, Calif.-based PIH Health has appointed Irena Zuanic to serve in a dual role of chief nursing officer and chief operating officer of Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles. 

Ms. Zuanic joined the three-hospital system in 2019 as CNO of the Los Angeles hospital, according to a March 4 news release from PIH Health. In her new role, she will oversee key ancillary services such as cardiology and radiology and continue leading all inpatient nursing units, the release said.
