LoanHero brings on new executives: 6 things to know

LoanHero, a patient financing platform based in San Diego, hired three new executives.

Here are six things to know.

Zalman Vitenson was hired as CEO.

1. Mr. Vitenson has more than 25 years of specialty finance experience, according to a news release.

2. Prior to the new appointment, Mr. Vitenson served as executive chairman at LoanHero. 

Olaf Janke was hired as CFO.

3. Mr. Janke has served as CFO of Solar Mosaic, which operates a solar energy company. He also served in other CFO and executive vice president specialty finance roles outside of Solar Mosaic.

4. Throughout his career, Mr. Janke has raised more than $10 billion of fixed income, $3 billon of equity and completed more than $3 billion of merger and acquisition transactions, according to the release.

Mikel Sides was hired as vice president of sales.

5. Previously, Mr. Sides was vice president of client development for co-branded cards at Citigroup. 

6. At Citigroup, he was responsible for overall sales and program management, the release states.
