LifePoint promotes VP of population health to RCM post: 3 things to know

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health promoted Jason Ross, vice president of population health, to senior vice president of revenue and network management.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Ross.

1. Mr. Ross will take on multiple responsibilities in his new role, such as overseeing LifePoint’s revenue cycle processes and reimbursement strategies, and still heading the for-profit hospital operator’s population health work, according to a news release.

2. He previously served as senior vice president of consumer and provider markets at Healthcare Bluebook and as vice president of value-based programs at The Advisory Board Company, among other positions.

3. Mr. Ross earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas in Austin and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Providence, R.I.
