Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health has appointed Aaron Lewis president and COO.
Mr. Lewis joined Lifepoint in 2018 and has served as CFO since 2024, according to a June 16 health system news release. In that role, he oversaw the company’s financial operations and healthcare finance leadership, as well as information technology, innovation, development and Lifepoint Business Services.
Before becoming CFO, Mr. Lewis served as executive vice president of growth and integrated solutions and senior vice president of care continuum and business transformation. He brings two decades of hospital leadership experience across operations, finance and development.
Mr. Lewis succeeds Jason Zachariah, who served as COO before departing Lifepoint earlier in June.
Mr. Zachariah had served as executive vice president and COO since June 2022, and became president and COO in February, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Lifepoint Health’s healthcare delivery network includes nearly 59,000 employees, 68 community hospital campuses, more than 70 rehabilitation and behavioral health hospitals and more than 300 additional sites of care.
