LifePoint Names CEO for Sumner Regional Health Systems

LifePoint Hospitals in Brentwood, Tenn., has named Mary Jo Lewis as CEO of Sumner Regional Health Systems in Gallatin, Tenn., according to a Nashville Business Journal report.

Ms. Lewis will begin work at Sumner once LifePoint completes its $154 million purchase of the hospital system, expected to close on Aug. 31.

Ms. Lewis comes to Sumner from LifePoint’s Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Ky., where she has served as CEO since 1999.
