Lifepoint Health secures former HCA hospital CFO

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health has named Bill Ziesmer its new CFO of its Western Division.

Mr. Ziesmer will replace Bob Barrett, who is taking on the newly created role of senior vice president, growth and transformation, effective immediately, according to a Feb. 5 Lifepoint news release.

In his new role, Mr. Barrett will provide oversight for company functions including growth and outreach, marketing, service line operations, data and analytics, and enterprise transformation.

Mr. Ziesmer will oversee financial operations for 18 hospital campuses across Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Ziesmer served as CFO of Las Vegas-based Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. Mr. Ziesmer also served in multiple financial leadership positions for both HCA and Health Management Associations. 

With more than 50,000 employees, Lifepoint Health comprises 60 community hospital campuses, more than 60 rehabilitation and behavioral health hospitals, and 250 added care sites across 31 states.
