LifePoint Health names post-RCCH merger executive team

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health tapped a new leadership team, effective once the organization completes its merger with RCCH HealthCare Partners, also in Brentwood.

In July, private equity firm Apollo Global Management announced it would purchase LifePoint Health for $5.6 billion including debt and combine it with RCCH HealthCare Partners, which Apollo operates. The combined company, which will operate under the name LifePoint Health, will include will run 84 hospitals as well as physician practices, outpatient services and post-acute providers across 30 states. 

David Dill, LifePoint’s current president and COO, will become CEO of the merged organization. He replaces Bill Carpenter, who is retiring upon completion of the merger.

The new leadership team will also include:

• Executive vice president and CFO: Michael Coggin
• Executive vice president of administration: John Bumpus,
• Executive vice president of hospital operations: Victor Giovanetti
• Executive vice president of integrated operations: Rob Jay
• Executive vice president and general counsel: Jennifer Peters

“This team will be responsible for uniting LifePoint Health and RCCH HealthCare Partners around a shared culture and goal of establishing our company as the leader in delivering high-quality, community-based healthcare,” said Mr. Dill in a statement.
