LifePoint Health appoints 3 to senior leadership roles: 13 things to know

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health has appointed three seasoned leaders to new positions at its support center. 

Here are 13 things to know about the leaders.

Kristi Morrow has been named senior vice president of integrated revenue management.

1. In her new role, Ms. Morrow is responsible for the overall net revenue and payer strategy for LifePoint. 

2. Her role includes developing revenue cycle processes and reimbursement programs "that enable the company to navigate the ongoing evolution of sophisticated payer models in the healthcare industry and effectively respond to consumers' financial needs," LifePoint said.

3. Ms. Morrow has more than two decades of experience in managed care reimbursement, analytics, disease management and healthcare delivery. 

4. She joins LifePoint from Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America, where she served as vice president of finance, strategic pricing and analytics. Prior to HCA, Ms. Morrow was vice president of domestic operations finance for Healthways.

Vanessa Peters has been named vice president of nursing and clinical operations for LifePoint's Central Group of facilities.

5. In her role, Ms. Peters will work closely with her markets "to improve overall patient safety, service and quality," and also will assist with clinical operations assessments within all LifePoint facilities, the company said.

6. She will play an integral role in establishing effective working relationships with group and hospital leadership, as well as other key LifePoint leaders. 

7. Ms. Peters has more than 30 years of nursing experience.

8. She has held interim CNO roles with LifePoint since 2012, most recently at TecheRegionalMedicalCenter in Morgan City, La.  

9. Prior to joining LifePoint, she served as CNO at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, W. Va., and also at Memorial Hospital of Salem County in Salem, N.J.  

Jason Ross has been named vice president of population health.

10. In his role, Mr. Ross will support LifePoint's efforts to successfully execute population health strategies within its markets.

11. He will be responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing LifePoint's population health management strategy and care model.

12. Mr. Ross joins LifePoint from Healthcare Bluebook, a healthcare price and quality transparency company in Nashville, where he most recently served as senior vice president of provider and consumer solutions.

13. Prior to his role with Healthcare Bluebook, he served The Advisory Board Company as vice president of value-based care, where he built a portfolio of advanced, evidence-based care transformation programs including care management, population health management, primary care redesign and provider risk-readiness programs.
