LifeBridge Health names president, COO of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore

Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health, parent company of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, appointed Johnathan Ringo, MD, president and COO.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Ringo and his career.

1. Prior to his appointment as president and COO, Dr. Ringo served as interim COO of Sinai Hospital for four months.

2. He joined LifeBridge Health in 2014 as the health system’s first CMIO, and later transitioned to vice president of clinical transformation.

3. In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Ringo is a practicing OB-GYN and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

4. He previously served as director of population health information at New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health before joining LifeBridge.

5. “Sinai Hospital has a 150-year history of service to the community, and I am honored to be chosen to continue that tradition and to lead an amazing team of medical professionals who are dedicated to providing the highest-quality, compassionate care to our patients,” said Dr. Ringo.
