LHN’s Dupont Hospital taps Lorenzo Suter to serve as CEO: 4 things to know

Lutheran Health Network’s Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., named Lorenzo Suter CEO, effective in December.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Suter most recently served as COO of Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio.

2. He has also held various healthcare facility leadership roles in Berwyn, Ill., Dothan, Ala., and Nashville, Tenn.

3. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served as president of the Alabama State Home Health Agency’s board of directors.

4. He succeeds Aaron Garofola, who transitioned into a new position within Lutheran’s parent company Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, according to a report by The Journal Gazette.
