Mr. Helgerson was most recently president of Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center in Vancouver Wash. He was previously vice president of hospital operations at Legacy Emanuel and Portland-based Randall Children’s Hospital and chief administrative officer of Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center in Gresham, Ore. In his new role as chief integration officer, Mr. will be responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with many of the organization’s ambulatory, non-hospital operations.
Mr. Green previously served as president of Portland-based Legacy Emanuel Medical Center and Unity Center for Behavioral Health. He also has experience serving as senior vice president, chief strategy officer and president of Legacy Medical Group. He succeeds Mike Newcomb, DO, who retired in December 2018. As COO, he will lead hospital operations, service lines, laboratory services and imaging services.
