Laurie Morrow Neely named chief nursing officer at Merit Health

Vicksburg, Miss.-based Merit Health River Region named Laurie Morrow Neely, MSN, APRN, chief nursing officer.

Ms. Neely began her role Jan. 2, according to the hospital release.

Previously, she was the chief nursing officer of West Palm Beach-based HCA Florida JFK North Hospital, where she reduced nursing turnover by 15 percent, according to the release.
