Larry Gray to step into president role at Baptist Health Louisville: 5 notes

Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health tapped Larry W. Gray to serve as president of Baptist Health Louisville (Ky.), according to a Times-Tribune report.

1. Most recently, Mr. Gray served as president of Baptist Health Corbin (Ky.).

2. During his tenure as Baptist Health Corbin president, the hospital received Press Ganey’s Guardian of Excellence Award for Patient Experience for its oncology center as well as expanded several services, including behavioral health.

3. Mr. Gray has worked at Baptist Health for 35 years.

4. He formerly worked at Baptist Health Lexington (Ky.), rising through the ranks to become vice president for system support and administrative services.

5. Anthony W. Powers, RN, MSN, vice president at Baptist Health Corbin, will replace Mr. Gray as interim president of the Corbin hospital.
