Here are four things to know about Mr. Bochaton.
1. Mr. Bochaton is hitting the ground running. He said he has hired a new team of leaders for Lakeway Regional and that the board that selected him is new as well, according to the report. He added that he also is recruiting more physicians and emphasizing a number of specialty services, such as neurosurgery, cardiology and orthopedics.
2. Mr. Bochaton is joining Lakeway Regional from Austin, Texas-based St. David’s HealthCare where he was chief administrative officer for neurosciences and rehabilitation, as well as president of the NeuroTexas Institute Research Foundation for St. David’s.
3. Mr. Bochaton is also a physical therapist.
4. Mr. Bochaton earned a doctorate in business administration from the International School of Management in Paris, France, and New York City. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the Vichy Medical Center in Vichy, France.
