Here are five notes:
1. Dr. Regan has been with LRH Medical Center since 2005, serving in numerous leadership roles, including chief quality officer and senior chief medical informatics officer.
2. In his new roles, Dr. Regan, a trained emergency medicine physician, will oversee strategic and operational planning for the medical center. He will also serve as representative to the administration for the health system’s medical staff and lead clinical chairs and medical directors.
3. He is replacing Mack Reavis, MD, in both roles.
4. Dr. Reavis is retiring after 38 years with Lakeland Regional.
5. Lakeland Regional Health includes LRH Medical Center and Hollis Cancer Center, both located in Lakeland, as well as LRH’s physician group.
