Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital names Tim Bess CEO

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky., has appointed Tim Bess as CEO, effective Sept. 2.

Mr. Bess replaces Mark Brenzel, who served as the 295-bed hospital’s CEO since 2010.

Most recently, Mr. Bess served as CEO of Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Va. Both Wythe and Lake Cumberland hospitals are part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals.
