Lake Charles Memorial chief medical officer to retire

Lake Charles (La.) Memorial Health’s chief medical officer, Manley Jordan, MD, is set to retire, according to a Nov. 13 filing.

Dr. Jordan will stay on at the health system in his current role until a replacement is found and will remain in a consultative capacity through 2026, the filing said.

The three-hospital system reported operating income of $40 million for 2023 through Sept. 30 on revenue of $385.2 million.
