Lafayette General Health appoints Dr. Fallon Strother McManus CMIO: 4 things to know

Lafayette (La.) General Health has tapped Fallon Strother McManus, MD, to serve as chief medical information officer, effective Aug. 5.

Four things to know:

1. Dr. McManus, a family medicine physician, has worked at Lafayette General Health since 2014.

2. She has served on the organization’s physician advisory committee and was named the physician champion for implementation of the Cerner EHR platform in 2018.

3. She previously provided care at Lake Charles (La.) Memorial Hospital.

4. Dr. McManus succeeded Amanda Logue, MD, who was named CMO of Lafayette General Health in June.
