1. Dr. Mayorga previously served as chairman of emergency medicine at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, Westerly (R.I.) Hospital and Pequot Health Center in Groton, Conn., all part of L+M Healthcare.
2. He is also a veteran of the Air Force and served in Iraq.
3. He replaces Dan Rissi, MD, who retired.
4. Dr. Mayorga will report to Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health CMO Thomas Balcezak, MD. L+M Healthcare is a member of Yale New Haven Health.
