Kyle Dorsey has been appointed hospital president of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Baptist Medical Center South. He will assume his new role on Nov. 1, a news release said.
Mr. Dorsey has served as the vice president of operations at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital since 2017. He oversees an array of support areas there, including EEG services, diabetes and weight management counseling, and security and shuttle services.
Before joining Baptist, he served as health center administrator at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System.
Mr. Dorsey made Becker’s list of rising stars under 40 in 2012 and 2019.
