Mr. Gabbard served as the health system’s executive vice president of financial operations since 2021 and stepped into the role of interim CFO in July, according to an Oct. 16 Appalachian Regional Healthcare news release.
Before joining Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Mr. Gabbard spent 18 years at Lexington-based University of Kentucky HealthCare, most recently as associate vice president of finance, according to the release.
