Lexington, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare named Joey Preast CEO of ARH Advanced Care.
Mr. Preast oversees operations of long-term acute care hospitals in South Williamson and Hazard, Ky., according to a Sept. 2 health system news release.
He most recently served as COO of Beckley (W.Va.) ARH Hospital and interim administrator of Tug Valley Regional Medical Center’s skilled nursing facility in South Williams, Ky. He previously served as CEO of Summers County ARH Hospital in Hinton, W.Va., and as an administrator at Beckley.
ARH Advanced Care’s long-term acute care hospitals serve patients who require highly specialized care for more than 25 days.
