Kennedy Health names chief population health executive: 5 things to know

Anthony Wehbe, DO, has been named chief population health executive of Voorhees, N.J.-based Kennedy Health.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Wehbe.

1. Dr. Wehbe, who is board-certified in internal medicine, has been a member of Kennedy's medical staff since 2012.

2. He has served as medical director of both the Kennedy University Hospital hospitalist program and its Center for Perioperative Medicine.

3. In his new leadership role, Dr. Wehbe will oversee operations of the Kennedy Health Alliance, a network of primary and specialty care practices; as well as Kennedy Family Health Services, Kennedy Home Health Care, and the Kennedy Health Care Center, a Sewell, N.J.-based long-term care facility with a sub-acute center, according to a news release. He will also continue to oversee the hospital-based hospitalist and perioperative medicine programs.

4. Dr. Wehbe earned a master's degree in business administration from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. In 2007, he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and then completed both his medical internship and residency at Kennedy University Hospital in Stratford, N.J.

5. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Internists and the American Medical Association.
