Detroit-based Karmanos Cancer Hospital named Kathleen Fedoronko, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services.
Ms. Fedoronko has been a leader for 25 years, with 20 of them at Karmanos, according to a Sept. 15 system news release. She started at the system as a staff nurse and most recently served as director of patient care services and the bone marrow and stem cell transplant ambulatory areas.
In her new role, she will oversee inpatient and ambulatory nursing practice.
She replaces Kathleen Carolin, BSN, RN, who retired in June.
