Kaleida Health selects chief nursing officer

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health appointed Marjorie Quint-Bouzid, DPA, BSN, RN, chief nurse executive.

Dr. Quint-Bouzid comes to Kaleida from Dallas-based Parkland Health, where she most recently served as senior vice president and administrator of Women and Infants Specialty Health.

She has a broad range of leadership experience, previously serving as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Fort Washington (Md.) Medical Center; senior director of women's, children's and cancer services at Inova Alexandria (Va.) Hospital; and as director of perinatal nursing services at Grady Health System in Atlanta.

Dr. Quint-Bouzid succeeds Cheryl Klass, BSN, RN, who has been serving as Kaleida Health's chief nurse executive and COO since July 2022. Ms. Klass will maintain her latter role at the system, according to a May 25 news release.
