Kaiser Permanente taps chief compliance, privacy officer

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente has named Jacqueline Carberry Baratian senior vice president and chief compliance and privacy officer for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals, effective Sept. 11.

She joins the system from St. Louis-based Ascension, where she also served as senior vice president and chief compliance officer, according to her LinkedIn profile. Ms. Baratian, who holds a JD, is also an active member of the American Health Law Association.
