Kaiser appoints California hospital physician-in-chief

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente appointed Patricia Hiserote, DO, physician-in-chief at its Santa Rosa (Calif.) Medical Center, the North Bay Business Journal reported July 12.

Dr. Hiserote stepped into the role June 27. She will oversee 385 physicians and clinical care delivery operations. She succeeds Michael Shulman, MD, a urologist who held the position for six years.
