Kahuku Medical Center CEO to leave post in October: 4 notes

Kahuku (Hawaii) Medical Center CEO Stephany Nihipali Vaioleti is departing in October, according to a Pacific Business News report.

Here are four notes:

1. Ms. Vaioleti is leaving to take on a new role at the Hawaii Medical Service Association.

2. She assumed the CEO role at the hospital in 2011, prior to which she serving in a number of leadership roles, such as COO.

3. During her tenure, the hospital completed a successful EMR implementation and upgraded its emergency room, noted hospital Board of Directors Chair Barbara Kahana in a statement, according to the report.

4. The hospital’s Chief Financial and Operating Officer Jerome Flores will take over as interim CEO, effective Oct. 12.
