Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health appointed Joseph R. Pino COO of Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital and Saint Thomas West Hospital, both in Nashville, according to a Lebanon Democrat report.

1. Mr. Pino most recently served as assistant COO and cardiovascular service line leader at Saint Thomas Midtown and Saint Thomas West.
2. Previously, he was COO and interim CEO at Mercy Hospital in Miami.
3. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. Mr. Pino holds a master's degree in health administration from the University of Florida at Gainesville.
